A Strong Showing in Bremen

Fair Winds, Shared Vision: Bringing PlanktoScopes to Sea

Fair Winds Collective, is bringing emission-free ocean science to sea through a collaboration with SOOP (Shaping an Ocean of Possibilities), Fair Transportโ€™s Tres Hombres, and Tilvera Expeditions. By installing PlanktoScope instruments on wind-powered sailing vessels, the initiative enables high-quality plankton monitoring without adding emissions. This growing instrument pool supports global ocean observation, open data, and sustainable research - powered by wind and collaboration.

Set Sail With Purpose

Created to inform and inspire, it celebrates sustainable trade, maritime heritage, and purposeful collaboration. Each page reflects a shared vision, harnessing the wind to move cargo responsibly while uniting people, planet, and purpose.
