Peggy Engelmann

Set sail with purpose!

Over 15 years of expertise in sustainability, education, maritime navigation, and community building.
I am a sailing officer recently certified with leadership experience on traditional sailing cargo vessels.

As founder of the Fair Winds Collective, I connect scientists, activists, and maritime professionals across Europe to advance zero-emission shipping and climate justice. I am passionate about combining hands-on seamanship with strategic project management, media communication, and public engagement to create meaningful environmental impact.
My background includes work with environmental NGOs, leading international teams, and driving transformative social and ecological projects. Fluent in German and English, I thrive in collaborative settings that foster innovation and sustainable change.
